Samsung has announced its latest PRO Endurance MicroSDHC / MicroSDXC cards. As the name suggests, they offer 25 times higher endurance when compared with its previous speed-focus cards.
The PRO Endurance MicroSD cards are specially aimed for intensive video monitoring devices and applications like Surveillance, Security cameras, dash cams etc.
The cards come in SD and MicroSD form factors and comes in 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage capacities. It can handle up to 100Mb/s sequential read and 30MB/s sequential write speeds.
The largest 128GB PRO Endure MicroSD can record 1080 for 43,800 hours, 64GB card gets about 26,280 hours while the smallest 32GB MicroSD can endure 17,520 hours of recording.
The Samsung PRO Endurance are UHS-I Speed Class 1 (U1) and Class 10 compatible. They can operate in temperatures ranging from -25ºC to 85ºC. They are IEC 60529 / IPX7 Waterproof, temperature proof, X-Ray proof and Magnetic proof.
The 32GB variant comes with 2 year limited warranty, 64GB card has 3 year limited warranty while the largest 128GB MicroSD comes with 5 Year limited warranty.
