Samsung SM-G9298 Android flip phone goes official, features two 4.2-inch displays

Samsung has officially launched its latest Android Flip Phone in China called SM-G9298 (translated as Leader 8). It has a high-end dual-screen clamshell design. It has metal frame and 3D glass metal fusion, giving its elegant stature.
This flip phone has physical dimensions of 130.2 x 62.6 x 15.9 mm and weighs about 235 grams. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots of which SIM2 slot doubles for MicroSD card. There is a fingerprint reader at the back, just under the rear camera. There are variety of hot keys to quickly access common functions or social networking apps.
The Samsung G9298 specs include two 4.2-Inch Super AMOLED displays, one at the inner and other at the external side. They offer 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. There is a message screen reminder function that shows information that you need to check from time to time (clock, date, call reminders etc).
Inside is a quad-core (2.15GHz x 2 + 1.6GHz x 2) Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. It has 64GB internal ROM (about 51.7GB user available) and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
The SM-G9298 features in 5MP front camera with F/1.9 Aperture for selfies. On the back side is 12MP Auto Focus camera with F/1.7 Aperture, 4K video recording at 30fps and LED Flash. There is a 2300 mAh battery that offers a maximum of 238 hours of standby. Wireless charging is also supported.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, ANT+, NFC, GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/Beidou, MicroUSB etc.
The Samsung SM-G9298 comes in Black color options. Pricing details are not known yet.
