Samsung starts mass production of Exynos 7 Quad 75750 14nm processor

Samsung is not just known for its Smartphones. It is also a world leader in advanced semiconductor technology. Today, Samsung Electronics has announced that it has begun mass production of Eynos 7 Quad 7570 SoC.
The Exynos 7570 is first in its class made using 14nm FinFET process. It is capable of outperforming its competitors in the class and highly power-efficient as well.
It has 4 ARM cortex-A53 CPU’s  and uses 14nm LP FinFET process technology. It is said to deliver 70% improvements in CPU performance and 30% improvement in power efficiency when compared to its predecessor (28nm).
The System-on-Chip (SoC) integrates a Cat. 4 LTE 2CA modem and supports much needed connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM Radio and GNSS (global navigation satellite system).
The Exynos 7570 chipset size has been reduced by up to 20% allowing phone makers to make even slimmer phones. This has been made possible by various design optimizations and feature consolidation of components such as PMICs (power management IC) and RF (Radio Frequency functionalities).
The Exynos 7 Quad 75750 SoC supports up to 1920 x 1200 pixels display resolution. It can do 1080p video play back and supports up to 13MP cameras for both front and rear. In case of dual camera setup, the chipset can tackle 8MP snappers in dual camera mode.
