Samsung T5 portable SSD with 540MBps transfer speeds announced

Samsung has announced its latest portable SSD called T5. It is compatible with PCs, Macs and Android Smartphones / Tablets.
The Samsung T5 portable SSD measures 74 x 57.3 x 10.5 mm and weighs 51 grams. It has shock-resistant metal case and strong internal support frame for added durability.
It is RoHS2 compliant and comes with array of certifications like CB, Ce, C-tick, BSMI, VCCI, KC, FCC, IC, UL, TUV etc. The SSD is built using Samsung’s new 64-layer V-NAND technology, comes with AES 256-bit hardware encryption and supports UASP mode.
The Samsung T5 offers sequential transfer speeds of up to 540 MB/s. Moreover, it uses USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface and comes with two connection cables. They include USB-C to C and USB-C to A.
The Samsung T5 portable SSD comes in 250GB / 500GB / 1TB / 2TB storage capacity. The 250GB / 500GB models come in Alluring Blue colors while 1TB / 2TB variants come in Deep Black color. The T5 250GB price goes at $129.99 (Rs. 8350).
