Samsung has introduced its three new premium monitors called Odyssey Neo G8, 2022 UHD Smart Monitor M8 and High-resolution Monitor S8. All of these will be showcased at CES 2022 and will launch in launch in Korean and Global markets in H1 2022.
Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 features
It is world’s first 4K 240Hz gaming monitor. The Odyssey Neo G8 packs in a 32-inch quantum Mini-LED display that offers 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution and boasts 1000r Curvature design.
The quantum mini-LED has been slimmed down to 1/40 compared to existing LEDs as a light source. It supports Samsung ‘s proprietary ‘Quantum Matrix’ image quality control technology and offers max brightness of 2000nits.
The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 comes with Quantum HDR 2000. It offers screen brightness controlled in 4096 steps (12-bits) and achieves industry highest 1000000:1 fixed contrast ratio.
It comes with two HDMI 2.1, a displayPort 1.4 and ‘CoreSync’ functions that automatically detects color of screen and matches the black lighting and color of the product. The monitor can Connect IT devices such as game consoles and supports several gaming-related functions like ‘Auto Source Switch+’.
Samsung Smart Monitor M8 2022 Features
the 2022 Smart Monitor M8 sports a ultra-slim 11.4mm design which is 1/3 thinner than before. It offers efficient space utilization. It offers screen adjustment according to users eye level by applying a HAS (Height Adjustable Stand).
The 2022 UHD Smart Monitor M8 comes with 32-inch display and support supports various OTT services and document creation witout a spearate PC or TV connection (with smart hub).
It comes with dedicated video camera that can be easily attached and detached with a magnetic method. It provides separate and a video solution app such as Google Duo, so that users can work from home and have teleconference conveniently.
Moreover, it can be used as a main screen for home IoT construction by mounting Samsung’s own IoT hub. It can monitor status of IoT devices throughout the monitor and remotely contro0l lighting and home appliances with SmartThings apps.
Samsung Hi-Resolution Monitor S8 features
The new High-Resolution Monitor S8 is specially optimized for designers and creators. It has 32-inch / 27 -inch screen sizes. It is also world’s first monitor that has been certified as Glare-Free by UL (Underwriters Laboratories).
Its screen supports 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification (32-inch model) and Wired LAN. It has 90W charging and USB Type-C port for data transmission. [source]
