SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 256GB Flash Drive and Ultra 256GB MicroDXC card announced

Western Digital Corporation has introduced world’s fastest SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 256GB Solid State Flash Drive at CES 2017. Company has also announced SanDisk Ultra 256GB MicroSDXC UHS-I card as well.
The SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Solid State Flash drive comes in 128GB and 256GB storage capacity. It is USB 3.1 Gen flash drive with read speeds of up to 420MB/s and write speeds of up to 380MB/s.
It comes with RescuePRO Deluxe data recovery software which can be used to recover accidentally deleted data. It has SecureAccess software as well which helps users set 128-bit AES encryption on files.
The Extreme Pro sports aluminium metal casing. It is backward compatible and works with any USB 2.0 or 3.0 port.
SanDisk Ultra 256GB MicroSDXC UHS-I card image -01The SanDisk Ultra 256GB MicroSDXC UHS-I card is waterproof, temperature-proof, X-ray proof and shock proof.  It offers 256GB storage with read speeds of up to 95MB/s. It can store up to 24 hours of 1080p video.
It’s A1 Spec allows the new card to manage read IOPS of 1500 and write IPS Of 500. It supports SanDisk Memory Zone app which allows users to backup, view, access phone files in on location and move them.
The SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Solid State Flash Drive is priced at MSRP of $179.99. The SanDisk Ultra 256GB microSDXC UHS-I carries price-tag of US$ 199 (MSRP). Both of them will be available globally in January 2017.
