Sandisk Industrial MicroSD, SD cards and Automotive SD Cards announced

Western Digital has launched Sandisk Industrial MicroSD and SD cards along with along with Automotive SD cards.
The Sandisk Industrial SD and Industrial MicroSD cards, as the name suggests, are meant for Industrial usage. They offer higher endurance to temperatures and offers extended product life cycles.
They have Proactive Health Status Monitor that results in reduction of the total cost of ownership per system. Theses cards are capable of delivering fast Read / Wirte speeds, allows high bit-rate video streams necessary for commercial imaging applications.
The Sandisk Industrial SD / MicroSD cards come in 8GB – 6GB capacities and feature SDA 3.0 High Speed interface. Depending on the model, they can withstand temperatures ranging from -25°C to 85°C. They offer 50Mbps Write / 80 Mbps Read speeds and up to 192 TBW endurance.
Talking about Automotive SD cards, they measure 24 x 32 x 2.1 mm and comes in SDXC form factor. The offer sequential read speeds up to 80 MB/s and comes in 8GB / 16GB / 32GB / 64GB storage options. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that SanDisk Automotive cards are AEC-Q100 Grade 3 compliant.
There is a special Host Lock feature that allows one to password protect data cards, thus preventing theft of data.
