Sharp Aquos Mini with 4.7-Inch FHD display, Snapdragon 808 Soc launched

Sharp has launched its latest mobile in Japan called the Aquos Mini. It has IPX5 / IPX8 / IP6X rating making it water proof.
The phone has measurements of 126 x 66 x 8.9 mm and weighs about 120 grams. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It has unique notification system called Emopa, which includes pulsating lights at bottom. Sides are pressure sensitive, when squeezed can confirm an action.
The Sharp Aquos Mini specs include 4.7-Inch IGZO display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch. The screen has 120Hz max refresh rate that goes down to 1Hz when mobile is idle.
The smartphone gets processing power from (1.8GHz x 2 + 1.4GHz x 4) Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 MSM8992 processor with Adreno 418 GPU. It has 3GB RAM, 16GB storage ROM and MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 200GB.

The Aquos Mini features a 5MP CMOS camera on the front, equipped with 83° lens lens. On the back is 13MP CMOS back-illuminated camera with F/1.9 Aperture, OIS, real time HDR, High-speed recording, Time-Lapse and supports 4K recording.
The handset sports 2810 mAh battery inside that gives 1150 minutes of VoLTE talk time. It fully charges up in about 250 minutes. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Sharp Aquos Mini is priced at JPY 44,800. It also comes at JPY 2,016 a month for two years. It is already available in Japan and comes in White and Red colors. No word on global release.
