Sharp AQUOS R with Snapdragon 835 announced

Sharp has announced its latest smartphone in Japan called AQUOS R.  It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU.
The phone measures 153 x 74 x 8.7 mm and has IPX5 – IPX8 / IPX6 rating for Water and dust resistance. It has front embedded fingerprint sensor for added security.
The mobile also includes AI app “Emopar” that learns your actions and habits and provide suggestions accordingly.
The Sharp AQUOS R specs include 5.3-inch IGZO LCD display with 2.5D curved Glass. It has 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch as well.
Sharp AQUOS R image 01The smartphone packs in 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB UFS storage. There is a 16.3MP selfie camera on the front side. On the back is a 22.6MP main shooter with LED Flash, F/1.9 Aperture, 90-degree wide angle lens, OIS and 4K Video recording support.
Inside is 3160 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C etc.
The Sharp AQUOS R will be available in White and Black color options. It will be available in Summer 2017. Pricing details were not revealed.
