Sharp AQUOS S3 Mini with 5.5-inch FHD+ display, 6GB RAM announced

Sharp has announced its latest mid-range smartphone in China called AQUOS S3 Mini (Model FS8018). It is equipped with fingerprint sensor just bellow the screen which unlocks in 0.1 seconds.
The mobile measures 142.7 x 73 x 7.8 mm and weighs 140 grams. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Nano + Nano / MicroSD) and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. It has metal frame with glassy back.
The Sharp AQUOS S3 Mini specs include 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 2040 x 1080 pixels resolution. The screen offers 550nits brightness, 135% sRGB color coverage and supports multi-touch.
Internal hardware makes up of octa-core (2.2GHz A53 x 4 + 1.8GHz A53 x 4) Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB eMMC 5.0 storage and allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
The AQUOS S3 Mini features in 20MP front facing camera with F/2.0 Aperture and face unlock support (Unlocks in 0.1 seconds by scanning 1024 facial points). At the back side is 16MP primary camera with LED Flash, F/2.0 Aperture and PDAF support.
The smartphone features in 3020 mAh typical non-removable battery with 5V/2A charger for fast charging. Connectivity wise, it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C etc
The Sharp AQUOS S3 Mini price goes at 1599 Yuan (US$ 250 / Rs. 16,470 approx.) and comes in Black, Gold and Blue colors. The cell phone is already available in China via JD.com.
