SHARP AQUOS S3 with dual rear cameras announced

SHARP has announced its latest AQUOS series smartphone in Taiwan called AQUOS S3. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS with Smile UX.
The handset measures 148.2 x 74.2 x 7.98 mm and weighs 165.44 grams. It has fingerprint sensor on its curved glass back. The device also supports face unlock that scans 1024 facial points and unlocks devices in less that 0.1 seconds.
The SHARP AQUOS S3 specs include 6-inch 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, 550 nits brightness, 135% RGB Ultra wide color gamut and 1500:1 contrast ratio. It boasts 91% screen-to-body  ratio.
Internal hardware makes up of octa-core (2.2GHz A53 x 4 + 1.8GHz A53 x 4) Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 14nm mobile platform with Adreno 508 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB internal storage and allows further expansion up to 1228GB using MicroSD card.
SHARP AQUOS S3 photo -2The AQUOS S3 features in 16MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is 12MP primary rear camera with F/1.75 Aperture, wide-angle lens and 1.4µm pixel size. There is a secondary 13MP rear camera with Telephoto lens and dual Tone LED Flash. The combination also offers 2x loss-less zoom.
The device packs in Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Nano + Nano / MicroSD) and supports 4G VoLTE. It is powered by 3200 mAh (typical) / 3100 mAH (minimum) battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.
The SHARP AQUOS S3 price is set at NT$ 11,990 (US$ 412 / Rs. 26,710 approx.) and comes in Black color. It will go on sale on April 1, 2018 in Taiwan. The handset will also land in Vietnam tomorrow.
