Sharp has announced a new smartphone under its AQUOS Series called AQUOS Wish (SHG06). It comes in Olive Green Ivory and Charcoal colors.
The retail version of Sharp AQUOS Wish will sell at AU while the Enterprise Edition of the mobile will land at SoftBank. The handset will go on sale in Japan in mid-January 2022. Pricing details were left out.
SHARP AQUOS Wish specifications and Features
For starters, the device offers dual SIM connectivity. It has a Nano SIM slots and brings support for secondary eSIM (DSDV). The handset measures 147 x 71 x 8.9 mm and weighs about 162 grams.
The mobile boots on Android 11 OS out of the box. It has fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The cell phone boasts IPX5 / IPX7 / IP67 water and dust resistant rating and complies with MIL-STD-810H grade durability.
The SHARP AQUOS Wish specs include a 5.7-inch multi-touch display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and leverages Rich Color technology for mobile. Under the hood is an octa-core Snapdragon 480 Mobile platform with Adreno 619 GPU.
The smartphone houses 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 storage space It has MicroSD card support up to 1TB. It has 3730mAH built-in battery that fully charges up in just about 130 minutes. The cell phone supports USB PD 3.0 fast charging. The battery gives just about 2340 minutes of talk time or 580 hours of standby.
The AQUOS Wish feature a single 13MP auto focus camera (F/2.0 Aperture) at back with LED Flash. At the front side (inside notch) is an 8MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture. The mobile comes pre-installed with Google Camera Go application.

Update 20/12/2021: Sharp has officially launched AQUOS Wish smartphone in Taiwanese markets. It comes in 4GB RAM with 64GB storage configuration and is priced at NTD 6990 ($251 approx.).
