Skype gets Send Money feature, teams up with PayPal

Skype has been constantly evolving and adding new features. Taking a step ahead, Skype has teamed up with PayPal to bring Send Money feature to its latest Skype Mobile App.
Skype Mobile users running on latest version can now send money with PayPal from the Skype App itself. The Send Money Feature is already available in 22 countries including US, Canada, UK and array of European markets. The sender and recipient must reside in this 22 countries for Send Money feature to work.
Send Money is currently supported in the following countries: United States of America, Canada, UK (Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man) Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain.
Process of sending money is also easy. While you are Skype chatting with your friends and family, simple swipe right, tap on Send Money and complete the money transfer process.
Skype Send Money Feature intoduced -1First time users will be asked to confirm their location. If the Send Money feature is live at the location, you will need to link your PayPal account with Skype profile. All the money transfers are handled by PayPal. Transferring money to a person in different country is also possible.
One thing notable is that person sending money needs to run on latest version of Skype Mobile App. The receiving person can use any version of Skype. If the the receiving party does not have a PayPal account, they’ll be prompted to create one .
