Smartisan Nuts R1 with 8GB RAM, 1TB Storage unveiled

Smartisan has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone called Nuts R1. It has stylish design with slim bezels and very small notch for front camera.
The phone sports grade 7 series aluminum frame and 3D glass back. If you are looking for fingerprint sensor, it is placed at the back, just under Smartisan’s logo. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 153.3 x 74.5 x 7.9 mm (H x W x D) and weighs 170 grams.
The rear capacitive fingerprint reader can unlock smartphone in 0.17 seconds. It can store up to 10 fingerprints and also supports micro-channel and Alipay wireless payments. Additionally, the handset also supports Face Unlock by tracking 1024 facial features and using Face++ face recognition algorithm.
The Smartisan Nuts R1 specs include a 6.17-inch in-cell pressure-sensitive touch display with 2242 x 1080 pixels resolution, 403ppi pixel density, 1500:1 typical contrast ratio, 96% NTSC typical color gamut and P3 wide color coverage. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for added durability.
Under the hood is 10nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile platform with Adreno 630 GPU (700MHz). The chipset also comes equipped with Artificial Intelligence engine. The handset comes in several RAM and Storage options which include – 6GB RAM (LPDDR4X) with 64GB or 128GB Storage UFS2.1) or 8GB RAM (LPDDR4X) with 128GB or 1TB storage (UFS2.1) (record breaking storage).
The Smartisan Nuts R1 features in dual rear cameras with Dual LED flash. The Primary rear camera is of 12MP which has Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size, F/1.8 Aperture, 6P Lens, Shaft 4 OIS and supports Dual PD Speed focus. The secondary rear camera is of 20MP and houses Sony IMX350 sensor, 1μm pixel size, 6P lens and F/1.75 large aperture. At the front side is 24MP primary shooter with F/2.0 Aperture, ArcSoft bokeh algorithm and AI real-time beauty.
The Smartisan R1 is powered by 3600 mAh battery and comes with 18W quick charge. It also supports Quick Charge 4.0, PD 3.0 charging protocol and Rapid wireless charging with peak output power up to 10W. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) 2X2 MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C etc.
The mobile also comes with several sensors like Gyro, Gravity sensor, Geomagnetic, Ambient light, Hall Sensor, Ultrasonic Proximity sensing algorithm and AI Audio Noise reduction algorithm.
