Smartron srt.phone with Snapdragon 652, Android 7.1 launched in India

Smartron  has launched its latest smartphone called srt.phone (Model: T5524). It was unveiled at a dedicated event.
It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box. Company has also promised an upgrade to upcoming Android O in future.Moreover, this mobile will also get faster updates and security patches.
The handset measures 153 x 77 x 8.9 mm and weighs 155 grams. It has Fingerprint sensor at the back, that unlocks phone in just 0.09 seconds. It has Dual Micro SIM slots inside and supports 4G VoLTE in India.
The Smartron srt.phone specs include 5.5-Inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 401ppi pixel density. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well for added durability.
Under the hood is an octa-core (1.8GHz A72 x 4 + 1.44GHz A53 x 4) Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR3 RAM (933MHz) and comes in 32GB / 64GB internal memory (non expandable). Company is also offering unlimited tcloud storage space.
The srt.phone features in a 5MP wide-angle camera at the front for selfies and 13MP rear snapper at the back with F/2.0 Aperture, PDAF and LED Flash.
The battery inside is of 3000 mAh capacity and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 as well. The handset also comes with USB Type-C reversible connector charging and 18W adapter (5V/2A and 9V/2A).
It has array of sensors like Proximity, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Ambient Light and Digital Compass. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), VoWiFi, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Smartron srt.phone price starts at Rs. 12,999 ($202) for 32GB variant and Rs. 13,999 ($218) for 64GB model. It is available online exclusively at Flipkart. Initial buyers will get free Sachin Tendulkar Signature on the back. There is a Rs. 1500 discount on exchange as well.
