Snapdragon 835 benchmarked, Octa-Core, Adreno 540 GPU in town

Just recently Qualcomm had announced its new Snapdragon 835 SoC. Company also revealed that it will be made using 10nm FinFET process, in collaboration with Samsung.
Later on, Alleged specifications of Snapdragon 835 surface, which hinted octa-cores and Andreno 540 GPU. Now, The chipset has been spotted at GFXBench, a popular benchmarking platform.
The listing has confirmed our previous reports. The development smartphone in question houses a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU.
Other specs of this reference device did not intrigue us however, Adreno 540 GPU performance did catch out attention. Looking at at the GPU performance fingers of SD835, we can easily see about 30% improvements in scores when comparing it to Snapdragon 821.
It is still to early to tell but we also expect better CPU performance and improved battery life. Rumors has it that Snapdragon 835 SoC could power upcoming Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphones.
