Sony A6500 and RX100 V Hybrid AF cameras announced

Sony has announced two flagship cameras dubbed as A600 (Mobel ILCE-6500) and RX100 V (model DSC-RX100M5).

Sony A6500

It has 2.95-inch (3.0-Type) wide TFT LCD screen and comes with 0.39 type (1.0 cm) XGA OLED electronic viewfinder. The camera is made up of tough magnesium alloy with robust lens mount. Moreover, it is also moisture and dust resistant.
The Sony A6500 features in 24.2MP APS-C type (23.5 x 15.6) with 3:2 Exmor CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processing engine. It has built-in flash and supports Sony’s E-mount lenses.
The camera can record 4K and 1080p videos at up to 120fps. It hs 425 phase-detection AF points and makes use of high-density tracking AF technology. It has fast hybrid AF (0.05 sec) for stills and movies. The camera supports 11fps (Hi+) continuous shooting and 8fps (Hi) live-view continuous shooting.

The Sony A6500 has built-in stereo microphone, 3.5mm stereo jack and supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.1, NFC and micro HDMI. It also includes in-body 5-axis image stabilization.

Sony RX100 V

This camera is  different from the above model. It has 2.95-inch display (tiltable up to 180-degree) and houses multi-slot reader for Memory Stick / SD memory card.
The RX100 V features 20.1MP 1.0 Type (0.52 x 0.35 inch) shooter with 3:2 Exmor RS CMOS sensor and houses DRAM chip as well. It has ZEISS Vario-Sonnar TLens with F/2.8 aperture and allows 2.9x optical zoom during movie recording.
It has Widespread dense 315-AF-Point coverage with fast Hybrid AF (PDAF /CDAF). It allows smooth-tracking continuous shooting at up to 24Fps. This Sony Camera supports up to 960fps super slow motion shooting and super high speed ant-distortion shutter up to 1/32000 seconds.
Apart from that, It has built-in flash, supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.1, NFC and Micro HDMI.

The Sony A6500 is priced at US$ 1400 and will be available from November 2016 in U.S. The Sony RX100 V compact camera has price-tag of US$ 1000 and start rolling out later this month.
