Sony NW-WS623 sports Walkman launched in India for Rs. 8990

Aimed at sports enthusiasts, Sony has launched its new NW-WS623 Walkman in India.
It is IP65/IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. It is also salt waterproof and can survive at depths of 2 meters for up to 30 minutes.
Weighing in at just 32 grams (1.2oz), it can survive in extreme temperature conditions ranging from -5°C to 45°C. It is optimum for outdoor sports activity including climbing or hiking.
There is a special Ambient Sound Mode that makes use of built-in microphones to catch external voices and sounds in surrounding environment. The microphone also allows one to take calls when connected smartphones.
It has high speed USB (USB 2.0 compliant) and offers up to 12 hours music (Ambient Sound mode Off). A 3 minute charging can give about 60 minutes of music playback while its battery can fully charge up in 1.5 hours.
Sony NW-WS623 Walkman image -1The Sony WS623 features 4GB storage and comes with dynamic normaliser. It has different play models like Normal / Repeat / Shuffle / Shuffle all / Repeat 1 song etc. It also connects with PC external devices.
It has built-in NFC and Bluetooth wireless technology that allows one to stream music and audio wirelessly from Smartphones. It also comes with standard and water-proof earbuds for versatile listening experience.
The Sony NW-WS623 Walkman is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available from June 15, 2017 from Sony Center stores through out India.
