Sony has already revealed that it is launching its latest PlayStation VR on October 13, 2016 in North America. It will be priced at US$ 399 and will support more than 50 games.
PlayStation VR Features and Specifications
The device sports a 5.7-Inch OLED display with 1920 x RGB x 1080 (960 x RGB x 1080 per eye) resolution. It has about 100-degrees FOV (field of view) and is equipped with three-axis gyroscope and three axis accelerometer (six-axis motion sensing system).
The PlayStation VR comes with a processor unit that functions 3D audio processing, Social Screen mirroring, separate mode and Cinematic mode. Its external dimensions of VR headset are about 187 x 185 x 277 mm while its processor unit measures 143 x 36 x 143 mm.
The PS VR headset is equipped with HDMI, AUX, Stereo Headphone Jack while its Processor Unit features HDMI TV, MDMI PS4, USB, HDMI and AUX ports.
