Sony SRS-NB10 neckband speaker unveiled for $149.99

Sony Electronics has officially announced its latest wireless neckband speaker called SRS-NB10. It securely fits around the neck and rests gently on shoulders. It is light weight and comfortable and is flexible.

The SRS-NB10 itself measures 191 x 49 x 185 mm (W x H x D) and weighs 113 grams. It has full-range speaker unit which is angled upwards and includes a passive radiator to boost bass.

The SRS-NB10 neckband speaker from Sony leverages Precise Voice Pickup technology, two beamforming microphones and advanced audio signal processing to minimize feedback and echo, thus ensuring crystal clear voice quality. It has a MIC Mute button to bring further control on microphone.

The neckband speaker uses Bluetooth V5.1 for connectivity with compatible devices. It has max communication range of 30 meters and supports A2DP/AVRCP/HFP/HSP profiles and SBC/AAC codecs. It has frequency transmission range of 20Hz – 20,000Hz with sampling frequency of 44.1kHz.

The Sony SRS-NB10 offers battery life of up to 20 hours, allowing almost whole day of calls, music, TV shows and more. It has quick charging which gives about 1 hours of playback with just 10 minutes charging (using USB Type-C).

The neckband is IPX4 rated and comes with splash proof design. On the left side is a Play/call button to easily take calls and allows seamless switching between laptops and smartphones.

The Sony SRS-NB10 price is set at US$ 149.99 and comes in Charcoal Black color. It will go on sale in September 2021. [source]
