Sony has launched a new portable Bluetooth speaker in India called SONY SRS-XB13. It comes with Sound Diffusion Processor which expands sound far and wide. It also delivers EXTRA BASS for deep and Punch audio.
The SONY SRS-XB13 portable speaker has dimensions of 8.5 x 8.5 x 10.5 cm (W x H x D). It has IP67 water and dust proof rating and sports a compact portable design and multi-way strap.
The speaker has volume / play / pause / track controls and allows wireless remote control. It uses Bluetooth V4.2 for connectivity with smartphones / computers / laptops / audio devices and has range of 10 meters.
The SONY SRS-XB13 has 5W RMS output with 20 – 20000Hz frequency response (44.1kHz sampling frequency). It has impedance of 4ohms and supports mono sound output.
Sadly, there is no support for FM Radio, Memory card or Headphone jack. This speaker does include a built-in microphone for hands-free calling. The battery inside is of 1400mAh capacity and fully charges up in 4.5 hours. It is claimed to offer up to 16 hours of usage.
The SONY SRS-XB13 portable speaker is priced in India at Rs. 3990 and comes in Black, Taupe, Blue and Pink colours. It will go on sale at major electronic stores, Sony retail stores, ShopatSC.com, Amazon.in and Flipkart from today itself (June 21).
