Sony along with Xperia 10 IV has also announced its latest flagship smartphone called Xperia 1 IV (Mark 4).
It is priced in US markets at $1599.99 (Rs. 1,23,600 approx.) while it costs €1,400 (Rs. 1,14,150 approx.) in Europe. The mobile pricing in UK is £1,330. The cell phone is offered in Violet and Black colors and is already up for order. The handset will roll out from September 1st, 2022.

The phone has measurements of 165.1 x 71.12 x 7.62 mm and has weight of 187.1 grams. It comes with IP6X dust proof rating and IPX5 / IPX8 water resistant rating. A fingerprint sensor is placed at side for biometrics.
The Sony Xperia 1 IV specs include a 6.5-inch OLED HDR display that gives 3840 x 1644 pixels resolution at 21:9 aspect ratio. It has Creator mode which is powered by CineAlta, ITU-R BT.2022 (REC.2020), Illuminant D65 water point, 10-bit tonal Gradation and X1 for mobile. Its screen offers 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch scanning rate and 240Hz motion blur reduction. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top as well.
Powering inside Xperia 1 IV is an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform with Adreno next-gen GPU. It has 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage space. It does allow further expansion up to 1TB using MicroSD card. Notably, the handset comes with Hybrid dual Nano SIM slots and supports 5G (Sub-6GHz / mmWave) and dual 4G VoLTE.
The Xperia 1 IV features in 12MP front camera with 1/2.9-inch EXMOR RS mobile sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, 84-degree wide-angle lens and 4K video recording support. At the back side is 12MP (main, 1/1.7-inch Exmor RS sensor, F/1.7, Hybrid OIS/EIS) + 12MP (124° ultra-wide, 1/2-inch sensor, 16mm, F/2.2) + 12MP (Telephoto, 1/3.5-inch senor, f/2.3 (85 mm 28° FoV), f/2.8 (125 mm 20° FoV) + 3D iToF sensors. The lenses have ZEISS T* coating, Real-time Eye AF, Real-time tracking and 4K video recording support.
The smartphone comes with full-stage stereo speakers powered by Sony’s very own 360 Reality Audio and Dolby Atmos (tuned in collaboration with Sony Picture Entertainment). It has 360 Reality Audio Hardware decoding, 360 Spatial Sound 19, DSEE Ultimate, Stereo Recording and Qualcomm aptX HD.
The specifications of Sony Xperia 1 IV includes a 5000mAh battery and supports 30W (USB PD) fast charging. It has support for Xperia Adaptive charging, Battery Care, STAMINA Mode and Qi Wireless Charging. It has battery share function as well.
