Sony has officially launched its new Xperia 10 IV smartphone in Europe. It is priced at €499 (Rs. 40,695 approx.) and comes in White, Black, Mint and Lavender colors. The handset will start rolling out in June 2022.

It is a 5G smartphone with Hybrid dual Nano SIM slots. It is powered by Android 12 OS and comes with a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Xperia 10 IV 5G measures 153 x 67 x 8.3 mm and weighs 161 grams. It has IP65 / IP68 water resistant rating. For enhanced audio, it has Qualcomm aptX adaptive, DSEE Ultimate, 360 Reality Audio Upmix, 360 Reality Audio certification and stereo recording support.
The mobile sports a 6-inch OLED wide Triluminous display that offers 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 10-bit tonal gradation, 97% DCI-P3 colors and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The Sony Xperia 10 IV specs include octa-core Snapdragon 690 mobile platform with Adreno 619L GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space. It has microSD card support up to 1TB.
The smartphone packs in a 5000mAh battery and supports 30W (USB PD) fast charging. It has support for Xperia Adaptive charging, STAMINA Mode and Battery care. Sony says that Xperia 10 IV is lightest cell phone in its segment to have 5000mAh battery.
The phone houses an 8MP 78° wide-angle front camera with 1/4-inch Sensor, F/2.0 Aperture and 1.12um pixel size. At the back side is a combination of triple cameras and LED Flash. These include 12MP (79° wide-angle main, 1/2.8-inch sensor, F/1.8, Hybrid OIS / EIS) + 8MP (120° ultra-wide, 1/4-inch sensor, F/2.2) + 8MP (telephoto, 1/4.4-inch sensor, F/2.4, up to 10x hybrid zoom) cameras.
Connectivity options on Xperia 10 IV 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB 3.1 Type-C, NFC, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm audio jack.
