Good news for Sony Xperia C4 users. Sony has started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS update for Xperia C4 phones (both single / dual variants).
Currently, the OS update is available only for models – E5303, E5306, E5333 and E5343. The remaining to models – E5353 and E5363 is expected to get the update in near future.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow could very well be last major update that Xperia C4 is receiving, as Sony hasn’t included the phone in lists of devices eligible for Android 7.0 Nougat.
The update brings in much needed features like Doze (for longer battery), Google now on tap and enhanced app permissions.
Sony has stopped the sale of new Xperia C4 phones in the US markets as company has moved forward with its X Series smartphones.
