Sony has unveiled its new smart communication robot in Japan called Xperia Hello. It’s original concept was first introduced by Sony back at MWC 2016 under the name “Xperia Agent”.
The Sony Xperia Hello communication robot has its very own personality. It can not only recognize each member of the family but also assist with day to day tasks simply by talking to it.
Aesthetically speaking, it might just look like a Speaker but it is much more. It can assess its surroundings, speak and move according to the situations. And the best part is that all of it is done without the requirement of human input.
It has lights (you can say Eyes) at the top of its body which can express feelings like happiness, loneliness, sadness, excitement etc. The Sony Xperia Hello can rotate up to 340-degree and greets everyone who speaks to it.
Additionally, it has an upper body camera which is mainly used to identify a family member (need to register them first). There is a 4.6-inch liquid crystal touch screen display that can be used to convey information, messages, news, display conversations etc.
