Sony Xperia XA Ultra with 6-Inch 1080p display, 3GB RAM, 16/21.5MP camera goes official

Sony has officially announced its latest phone called the Xperia XA Ultra. It is a mid-range smartphone that is slightly larger than Xperia XA which was announced at MWC 2016.
It has the same form factor as other X Series phones, with power button placed at bottom right edge and volume buttons in middle right centre. It has edge-to-edge design with measurements of 164.2 x 79.4 x 8.4 mm, weighs 190 grams and has metal frame for durability.
Main USP of the smartphone are its camera. It has 16MP front camera equipped with 1/2.6-Inch Exmor R Sensor, LED flash, 88-degree wide-angle-lens and supports optical image stabilization. On the upper left back is 21.5MP  primary shooter that users 1/.24-Inch Sony Exmor RS Sensor, LED flash and uses hybrid auto focus with object tracking. Much emphasis has been given to phone’s capability of taking low light photors.
The Sony Xperia XA Ultra specs include 6-Inch Mobile Bravia Engine 2 display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 367ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch as well. It has a Mediatek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor with Mali-T8 60 MP2 GPU and houses 3GB RAM.  Usual connectivity options like Dual SIM slots, 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, NFC, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack are supported as well.
The phone sports 16GB internal storage memory and MicroSD card slot that allows further expansion up to 200GB. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box and boasts a 2700 mAh battery that gives life of 2 days with single charge. The battery inside supports fast charging and is said to give 5.5 hours of usage in just 10 minutes of charging.
Sony Xperia XA Ultra is expected to launch some time in July 2016. It comes in White, Black and Lime Gold colour options and will launch globally.. Pricing details were not revealed by the company.
