Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra with dual selfie cameras announced

Sony has just announced its latest Xperia smartphone at CES 2018 called Xperia XA2 Ultra. It is successor to last year’s Xperia XA Ultra.
The handset measures 163 x 80 x 9.6 mm and weighs 221 grams. It has optional Dual SIM slots and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS out of the box. It has fingerprint sensor at the back that not only allows fast unlocking but also provides additional security.
It has a 6-inch multi-touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The screen offers 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and comes with Image Enhanced Technology for vivid images.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra specs include 2.2GHz octa-core 14nm Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU. It has 4GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB internal storage and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.

At the camera department, there is a 16MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture, 1/2.6-inch ExmorRS sensor, 88-degree wide angle lens and OIS support. There is another 8MP secondary selfie camera with F/2.4 Aperture, 1/4-inch Exmor R sensor and 120-degree super wide angle lens.
The rear side is equipped with 23MP main camera with LED Flash, F/2.0 Aperture, 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor, 84-degree wide angle lens and Hybrid Auto Focus support.
The hardware is fueled by 3580 mAh battery capacity. It supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Qnovo Adaptive Charging. Connectivity wise, it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5 LE, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC etc.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra comes in Silver, Black, Gold and Blue colors. It will start rolling out in February 2018. Pricing details were not revealed.
