TCL took to CES 2021 virtual even, where it has unveiled two new smartphones called TCL 20 5G and TCL 20 SE.
The TCL 20 5G 6GB/128GB price is €299 and comes in Mist Gray and Placid Blue colors. The device will be up for order in Europe soon and will also land in other markets soon.
The TCL 20 SE price is €149 and comes in Aurora Green and Nuit Black colors. It will go on sale in Europe soon and will also launch in APAC and LATAM later.
TCL 20 5G
The smartphone is powered by Android 10 based TCL UI and comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button. It has dual SIM slots with 5G / Dual 4G VoLTE.
The TCL 20 measures 166.2 x 76.8 x 9.1 mm and weighs 206 grams. It has glass front and back and sports a 6.67-inch LCD HDR10 display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio.
Inside is octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC with Adreno 619L GPU. The mobile comes in options of 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB / 256GB UFS 2.1 storage space. It has MicroSD card support for further expansion.
The TCL 20 5G specs include 8MP front camera placed inside punch hole and has F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side are triple cameras which include 48MP (main, 1/2″ Sensor, F/1.8) + 8MP (wide-angle with 118° FOV, F/2.2) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) and LED Flash.
The smartphone houses 4500mAh battery capacity and supports 18W quick-charge 4.0+ fast charging. It has side mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of connectivity, it has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB 2.0 Type-C, GPS/GLONASS and NFC.
TCL 20 SE
The TCL 20 SE has dimensions of 172.08 x 77.14 x 9.1 mm and weighs 206 grams. It comes with rear mounted fingerprint sensor and a dedicated google assistant button.
The TCL 20 SE is powered by Android 11 based TCL UI. It has dual SIM slots with dual 4G VoLTE support. It has 6.8-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution at 20.5:9 aspect ratio.
Pumping inside is octa-core Snapdragon 460 mobile platform with Adreno 610 GPU. It has 4GB RAM with 64GB eMCP storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 ROM. The mobile has MicroSD card support for further expansion.
The TCL 20 SE features in 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Depending on the market, the mobile either comes with 8MP (1/4″ sensor, F/2.0) OR 13MP (1/3″ Sensor, F/2.2) front cameras.
At the back side are quad-rear cameras with LED Flash. It includes 48MP (1/2″ sensor, F/2.0, 79° FoV) OR 16MP (1/2″ sensor, F/1.8, 77° FoV) + 5MP (115° FoV, F/2.2) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) cameras.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS, USB 2.0 Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack.
