TCL has silently introduced a new 5G budget smartphone in Czech Republic called TCL 20R 5G.
TCL 20 R 5G specifications and features
The TCL 20R 5G feature a 6.52-inch IPS display boasting 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The smartphone itself measures 164.3 x 75 x 9 mm and weighs 186 grams. It offers dual SIM connectivity with 5G / Dual 4G VoLTE support. A fingerprint sensor is placed at back for biometrics.
The TCL 20 R 5G specs include octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with ARM Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and comes in 64GB / 128GB storage options. There is MicroSD card support for further storage expansion.
The smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 11 OS. It has triple cameras at back with LED flash. These include 13MP main, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens. At the front side is an 8MP selfie camera.
The TCL 20R 5G houses a 4500mAh battery inside and supports 10W charging. TCL claims that cellphone’s battery fully charges up in about 3.5 hours.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, NFC, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
TCL 20 R 5G price, colors, availability
The TCL 20R 5G 64GB model is priced at CZK 5290 (€179 in the Netherlands) while its 128GB variant costs CZK 5790 (€249 in Netherlands). It comes in Blue and Black colors and will go on sale in the country by end of September. There is no word about phone launch in other markets. [via]
