TCL PLEX smartphone with SD675 goes official

TCL, a known Chinese brand who is one of top TV manufacturer globally and entered into mobile phone market with its new smartphone called PLEX.

TCL is also the company who has experience of making smartphone known brands like Alcatel and BlackBerry. TCL PLEX is first from the company with its own brand name.

The TCL PLEX features in 6.53-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution. It has a punch-hole on top left side which houses 24MP selfie shooter. The handset also comes with NXTVISION Display and Camera optimization software which enhances contrast, color and clarity in real time. The handset can also cover SDR to HDR in real time.

At the back side is triple camera setup which consists of 48MP (main, F/1.8 Aperture) + 16MP (Ultra-Wide-Angle, F/2.4 Aperture) + 2MP (Depth sensor) cameras and dual-LED Flash. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back as well. The PLEX can record 960fps Slow-mo videos.

Under the hood is an octa-core Snapdragon 675 mobile platform with Adreno 612 GPU. The chipset is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space, which is further expandable using MicroSD card.

The TCL PLEX Specs include 3820 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It has 3D holographic finishing at the back and comes with dedicated smart key which is configurable.

The mobile is powered by Android 9.0 Pie OS with TCL UI on top. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS and 3.5mm Audio Jack.

The TCL PLEX Price will start at around €329 (US$360) and comes in Opal White and Obsidian Black colors. It will be available in Q4 2019 in Europe.
