TCL has launched its latest mid range smartphone in US markets called STYLUS 5G. It is available in Lunar Black color and is priced at $258. You can get it at T-Mobile.
TCL Stylus 5G specs
As the name suggests, it is a smartphone with Stylus built-in. The device itself has dimensions of 169.6 x 76.5 x 8.98 mm and weighs about 213 grams. It has a fingerprint sensor at side.
Specifications of TCL Stylus 5G include 6.81-inch Dotch 2.5D Glass LCD display that gives 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 395ppi pixel density, 500nits (typ) brightness and 90.2% screen-to-body ratio.
Powering inside is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor with ARM Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. The cell phone has 4GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage space (about 110GB user available). It does allow further expansion up to 2TB with MicroSD card.
The TCL Stylus 5G feature a 4000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It is said to deliver up to 29.3 hours (2G) / 28.6 hours (3G) / 26.6 hours (4G) / 26.3 hours (5G) talk time. One can expect up to 16.23 hours of mixed 5G usage.
The smartphone houses a quad-camera system at back with LED Flash. These include 50MP (main, 74.4° FOV, 0.64um / 1.28um with 4-in-1 super pixel) + 5MP (super-wide-angle, 114.9° FOV, 1.12um ) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4, 88.8° FOV, 1.75um) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4, 85° FOV, 1.75um) lenses. A 13MP camera is placed at front that supports face unlocking.
For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm audio jack. TCL has included MT6365 Audio chipset with AW88194 Audio Amplifier and dual speakers.
