Tecno Mobiles has introduced a new smartphone in India called Tecno Camon 16 Premier. It is powered by Android 10 based HiOS and houses dedicated dual Nano SIM slots and a MicroSD card slot
The Tecno Camon 16 Premier features in a side mounted fingerprint sensor. The mobile measures 170.16 x 77.18 x 9.1 mm and weighs 210 grams.
It has 6.85-inch LCD display with 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 1500:1 contrast ratio and delivers 480 nits of brightness.
At its heart is octa-core (2.05GHz A76 x 2 + 2GHz A55 x 6) MediaTek Helio G90T processor with ARM Mali-G76 3EMMC4 (800MHz) GPU. The SoC is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space. The cellphone also supports MicroSD card up to 256GB for further expansion.
The Tecno Camon 16 Premier specs include dual selfie cameras. These include 48MP main with 8MP wide angle (105-degree) and Dual-LED Flash. At the back side are quad-cameras which include 64MP (main, Sony IMX686 sensor) + 8MP (119° ultra-wide) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (2.5cm macro) shooters with five-LED Flash. It has Super Night 2.0 which leverages TAIVOS (TECNO AI Vision Optimisation Solution) technology.
Powering its hardware is a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging. To keep thermals in check, Tecno has included multi-dimensional Liquid Cooling system.
In terms of connectivity, there is support for Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, FM Radio and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Tecno Camon 16 Premier price in India is Rs. 16,999 and comes in single Glacier Silver colors. It will go on sale online at Flipkart from January 16th. It will also land in retail stores as well.
