TECNO Mobile (China-based Transsion Holdings) has announced its latest budget smartphone in India called Tecno I. It has uni-body metal design and sports a fingerprint sensor at the back.
The handset measures 152.2 x 71.7 x 7.75 mm and weighs 134 grams. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with HiOS. It has dual SIM slots and support 4G VoLTE in India.
The Tecno Camon i specs include 5.5-inch Full View display with 1440 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Under the hood is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card (dedicated slot).
The Camon i features in 13MP primary camera at the back with quad-LED flash, 5P lens and F/2.0 Aperture. At the front side is 13MP secondary camera with LED Flash, F/2.0 Aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens.
The hardware is powered by 3050 mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Tecno Camon i is priced in India at Rs. 8999 and comes in Midnight Black, Champagne Gold and City Blue colors.
