TECNO Mobile has announced its latest smartphone called Phantom 9. The latest member in Phantom Series runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS based HiOS 5.0.
It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking. The smartphone comes with dedicated Dual SIM slots and supports Dual 4G VoLTE in India.
The TECNO Phantom 9 specifications include 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 600nits brightness and multi-touch support.
At its core is 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The SoC is paired with 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM and includes MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 128GB.
The TECNO Phantom 9 features in 16MP (Main, F/1.85) + 8MP (120-degree Ultra-Wide Angle lens, F/2.4, 2.5cm macro photo) + 2MP (Depth sensor, F/2.8) triple camera setup with quad-LED Flash.
There is a 32MP front facing camera with dual LED Flash and F/2.0 Aperture. It also comes with 4-in-1 pixel binning technology which takes 8MP sharp pictures with 1.6micron pixels. The selfie shooter also comes with AI Beauty and AI Scene recognition.
The Phanton 9 measures 158.46 x 75.3 x 7.85mm. It houses 3500 mAh battery which can be charged using MicroUSB port. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The TECNO Phanto 9 price is Rs. 14,999 (US$ 219 approx.) and comes in Lapland Aurora colors. It will start selling at Flipkart from July 17th.
