TECNO enters into flagship smartphone market with the launch of PHANTOM X smartphone. The handset sports a premium design with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at front and back.
The PHANTOM X measures 163.5 x 73.78 x 8.72 mm and comes with an in-display fingerprint which unlocks in 0.4 seconds. It has support for 3D face unlocking as well.
The smartphone feature a 6.7-inch 3D borderless Super AMOLED display offering 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate and multi-touch support.
The Tecno PHANTOM X is powered by octa-core (2.05GHz x 2 + 2GHz x 6) MediaTek Helio G95 processor with 900MHz Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. It has 8GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage space (non expandable).
The cell phone comes pre-installed with Android 11 based HiOS and includes Hey ELLA AI Voice assistant. It has 4700mAH battery and supports 33W flash charge fast charging. It is said to charge mobile to 70% in just 30 minutes.
The PHANTOM X specs include 48MP (main ultra-clear) + 8MP (105-degree ultra-wide) dual cameras the front placed inside punch hole. It has selfie flash as well to tackle low light environments.
At the back side are triple cameras. These include 50MP (1/1.3 inch main, F/1.85, 7P lens, 1.2um native / 2.4um super-large pixel) + 8MP (120-degree ultra-wide) + 13MP (50mm portrait) cameras with quad-LED Flash. The rear main sensor has dual-core + laser focus as well. These can record 4K video and 960fps super-slow-mo videos as well.
Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS/beidou.
The PHANTOM X colour options include Night Blue and Monet’s Summer shades. Pricing and availability details were not revealed.
