TECNO POP 5P with Android 10 Go Edition launched in Nigeria

TECNO has launched its latest Android 10 Go Edition budget smartphone in Nigeria called TECNO POP 5P.

The TECNO POP 5P is powered by HiOS which is based on Android 10 (Go Edition). It has a fingerprint sensor for biometrics and has support for face unlock as well.

The phone features a 6.52-inch Dot-Notch display offering 1600 x 720 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. It has 1.3GHz quad-core processor (unnamed chipset) which is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. There is MicroSD card slot for further expansion.

The POP 5P has measurements of 157.7 x 75.7 x 9.55 mm . It has 5000mAh battery inside which is claimed to offer up to 22 hours of 3G calling or up to 11 hours of video playback or 100 hours of music or up to 790 hours of 3G standby.

It has 5MP dual rear cameras with LED Flash, Portrait mode and 7 levels beauty mode. At the front side is an 8MP selfie shooter with Flash.

The TECNO POP 5P has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM Radio (with out play function) and 3.5mm audio jack. The handset also bundles in G-Sensor, Ambient light and distance sensors.

The TECNO POP 5P price is set at ₦ 44,000 ($107 / Rs. 7930 approx.) and comes in Rose Gold and Ather Black colors. It is already up for sale in Nigeria at Jumia.
