TECNO expands its POVA Series lineup with the launch of its new smartphone called TECNO POVA 2. The handset is successor to last year’s POVA handset and packs in some impressive specs.
The TECNO POVA 2 specs include a huge 6.9-inch Dot-In display offering 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution, 180Hz touch sampling rate and offers 480nits brightness.
Powering inside is octa-core (2GHz A75 x 2 + 2GHz A55 x 6) MediaTek Helio G85 processor with ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU (1000MHz) GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB internal storage space. There another 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB storage space. The handset does allow further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
The POVA 2 measures 173.32 x 78.78 x 9.62 mm and comes with side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is powered by Android 11 based HiOS 7.6 and comes with Dual Nano SIM slots for Dual 4G VoLTE.
The TECNO POVA 2 feature an 8MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture and dual-LED Flash. It has quad-rear cameras consisting of 48MP (main, F/1.79) + 2MP (macro, 4cm shots) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) + 2MP (AI Lens) and quad-LED Flash.
Powering its hardware is a 7000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It comes with dual IC 18W fast charger which is 20% faster than single IC charger. It is claimed to fully charge mobile in 140 minutes.
A fully charged battery of POVA 2 offers up to 49 hours of call time or up to 20 hours of web browsing or up to 233 hours of music play time or up to 31 hours of video playback or up to 46 days of standby.
Connectivity options Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
