Transsion’s TECNO brand has launched a new smartphone in India called POVA 3. It is successor to POVA 2.
TECNO POVA 3 specs
The phone measures 175.1 x 78.46 x 9.4mm. It has dual Nano SIM slots with dual 4G VoLTE support. It comes with dual speakers with DTS sound effects. TECNO has included Z-axis linear motor for 4D vibrations. The mobile sports an IPX2 splash proof rating.
The TECNO POVA 3 feature a 6.9-inch Dot-in display that offers 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate and supports multi-touch. It has Octa-core Mediatek Helio G88 processor with Mali-G52 GPU.
The handset comes in options of 4GB RAM (+3GB RAM extension) with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM (+5GB RAM extension) with 128GB storage space. It has Graphite Cooling system for stable performance.
The smartphone runs on Android 12 OS based HiOS 8.6 and includes Panther Engine 2.0, HyperEngine 2.0 Lite and Game Space 2.0 for optimized gaming and performance.
The POVA 3 packs a huge 7000mAh battery and supports 25W flash charging and 10W reverse charging. Company has included a 33W flash charger inside the box. According to statistics, POVA 3’s battery offers about 50 hours of music play time or 8 hours gaming or 20 hours YouTube.
In terms of optics, it has 50MP AI camera (F/1.6 Aperture, PDAF) + two auxiliary cameras at back with quad-LED Flash. At the front side is an 8MP selfie camera placed inside a punch hole.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. It has a side mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.
