TECNO first announced its new POVA 5G smartphone back in December last year. Today, company has officially launched this mobile for Indian markets.
TECNO POVA 5G Specifications
It is a dual SIM smart that supports 5G SA/NSA (supports 11 5G bands) and dual 4G VoLTE. It is powered by Android 11 based HiOS 8.0.
The cell phone measures 172.82 x 78.24 x 9.07 mm and comes with a side mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics. It has a 6.9-inch LCD display that offers 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The TECNO POVA 5G specs include octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and supports additional 3GB RAM using memory fusion technology.
There is 128GB (UFS 3.1) storage space and a microSD card slot for further expansion. The mobile houses a 6000mAh battery and allows 18W fast charging. It can go from 0 to 50% in just about 33 minutes.
The POVA 5G feature in a 16MP selfie camera with dual-LED Flash. At the back side is a combination of 50MP main, 2MP macro and AI lens. A quad-LED flash is present as well.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.
Price and availability
The POVA 5G comes with an introductory price-tag of Rs. 1999. It comes in Aether Black color. You can buy this mobile at Amazon.in starting February 14th. Initial buyers will get free power bank worth Rs. 1999 under its launch offer.
