Tecno has unveiled its first 5G smartphone called Tecno POVA 5G. Notably, the handset is different from POVA 4G model and packs in some impressive specs.
Tecno POVA 5G specifications
The mobile measures 172.82 x 78.24 mm (height x width). Its thickness is less than 1 cm.
It offers dual SIM connectivity with 5G / Dual 4G VoLTE. The mobile runs on Android 11 based HiOS out of the box. The device comes with sleek Kevlar textured rear design and houses a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
The POVA 5G specs include a 6.95-inch multi-touch display that offers 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and 480ppi pixel density.
Under the hood is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor with Arm Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage space. The cell phone extra 3GB virtual RAM as well.
The POVA 5G from Tecno feature in triple cameras at back. These shooters include 50MP main, 2MP secondary and an AI lens. It has quad-LED Flash. At the front is a 16MP selfie camera. It is placed inside a punch hole.
The smartphone houses a powerful 6000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. With just 15 minutes of charging, the cell phone delivers up to 3 hours of play time.
The mobile’s fully charged battery is rated to offer up to 55 hours of talk time / 11 hours of game play / 775 hours of standby.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Bediou and 3.5mm audio jack.
