TECNO has officially launched POVA Neo smartphone in Nigeria. It is an entry-level mobile with price-tag of N72500 ($177 approx.).
The cell phone comes in Obsidian Black, Geek Blue and Powehi colors. It is already available in the country via its online and offline channels.
Tecno POVA Neo specifications and features
The cellphone comes in measurements of 171.39 x 77.25 x 9.1 mm. It has rear mounted fingerprint sensor for fast and secure unlocking. The handset runs on Android 11 based HiOS 7.6 out of the box. It has ET Engine for more powerful and dynamic game performance. Moreover, its upgraded Gaming Space enhances gaming power.
The POVA Neo specs notes a 6.8-inch multi-touch Dot-Notch display boasting 1640 x 720 pixels resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 262ppi pixel density and 120Hz touch sampling rate. It has fairly slim bezels and boasts 84.8% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood is an octa-core (1.8GHz x 4 + 1.5GHz x 4) MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762V) processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage space. The phone has MIcroSD card slot for further expansion of storage.
The Tecno POVA Neo specs include 8MP front facing camera with dual-Flash. At the back side are dual cameras making up of 13MP main and 2MP depth sensor. A quad-LED Flash is present at the back.
The handset includes G-Sensor, Ambient Light and Proximity sensors. It has a huge 6000mAh (typical) battery and supports 18W Flash charging. Apart from long standby time, its battery delivers up to 17 hours of gaming, 24 hours of music, 20 hours of video playback, about 40 hours of calling or up to 15 hours of internet surfing.
