Tecno has officially launched its Spark 8 smartphone in India. It was first introduced in Nigeria last month and came with Helio P2 SoC.
Tecno Spark 8 Specifications and Features
The mobile has measurements of 164.82 x 76.05 x 8.85 mm. It has dual Nano SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE. The handset sports a rear mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics.
The mobile runs on Android 11 Go Edition based HiO 7.6. It has 6.56-inch IPS LCD 2.5D curved glass display offering 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and delivers 480nits of brightness.
The Tecno Spark 8 India model has 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB on-board storage space. It has microSD card support up to 256GB.
The phone specs include 8MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture and dual-LED flash. At the back side are 16MP (main, F/1.8) and AI lenses with quad-LED Flash.
The Indian model of Spark 8 houses a 5000mAh battery. It offers up to 31.37 hours talk time or 29.44 days of standby. It has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
Price, Colors and availability
The Tecno Spark 8 is priced in India at Rs. 9299 and comes in Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple and Turquoise Cyan colors. It is already available via offline stores across India.
