A well known US watch maker TIMEX has unveiled its first ever smartwatch called Ironman R300 GPS. It offer water resistance up to 30 meters and sports full sized square case (40.5mm).
Its display uses TAPSCREEN Technology and sports easy-to-use menus. Once connected with smartphones, The watch can show notifications, alerts etc. Timex has also included easy-to-use menus for accessibility.
The TIMEX IRONMAN R300 GPS features in an optical heart rate sensor. It can track your resting heart rate after sleep and gives out several insights.
This smartwatch from TIMEX delivers guided workouts from top athletes, including Jared Ward’s 12-week running program. It helps one to get train for next race and allows setting goals.
With Timex Smart App, which is available on both Android and iOS phones, user can key an eye on their workouts, goals, statistics. One can also connect with friends and compete with fellow athletes.
The IRONMAN R300 GPS also comes with on-board GPS connectivity, allowing one to track distance, places and routes. The smartwatch offers 24/7 activity tracking including steps taken, distance moved, calories burned and sleep quality.
The smartwatch offers up to 25 days of battery backup with normal use. With GPS on, you get about 20 hours of usage.
The TIMEX IRONMAN R300 GPS price is $120 and comes in Gray/Black, Gray and Silver-tone color options. These have soft silicone rubber straps.
