TP-Link recently released its Neffos Y5 smartphone and now company has announced two new mobiles at IFA 2016. Dubbed as Neffos X1 and Neffos X1 Max, they have uni-body metal design and comes with fingerprint sensor at the back (unlocks in 0.2 seconds).
Both the devices are powered by Helio P10 processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. They have 4G LTE connectivity and features in 5MP front and 13MP main camera on the back.
The TP-Link Neffos X1 is priced at €199 (US$ 222) while the Neffos X1 Max price starts at €249 (US$ 278). They come in Sunrise Gold and Cloudy Grey colour options. Both the phones will roll out in Q4, 2016.
TP-Link Neffos X1
The phone has dimensions of 142 x 71 x 7.95 mm and houses Dual SIM slots. It has 5-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
It has 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with Mali-T860 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and allows expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD Card. Inside is 2250 mAh battery.
The TP-Link Neffos X1 Specs include 5MP front camera for selfies. On the back sits a 13MP main snapper with Sony IMX 298 sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, 5P Lens, PDAF and dual-tone LED Flash. Fingerprint sensor provides additional security as well.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, GPS etc.
TP-Link Neffos X1 Max
As the name suggests, this is a larger variant, featuring a 5.5-Inch 2.5D curved glass display. The screen has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch as well.
The Neffos X1 Max specs include a larger 3000 mAh battery that powers the hardware. It consists of 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC and Mali-T860 GPU. It comes in 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage options. MicroSD cards up to 128GB are also supported for further expansion.
Just like the X1, It has 13MP main camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, 5P Lens, F/2.0 aperture, supports PDAF and houses dual-tone LED flash. On the front is 5MP secondary camera. On the back side is a finger print sensor as well.
The smartphone measures 152.8 x 76 x 7.75 mm and house dual SIM slots. It supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, GPS etc.
