Unknown Huawei OCE-AL50 model gets certified by TENAA

A new Huawei smartphone with model number OCE-AL50 has been certified by TENAA. It shares a similar camera module design with Huawei Mate 40 Pro 5G model and upcoming Mate 40 Pro 4G (NOH-AL00), but has different specifications.

For starters, Huawei OCE-AL50 is powered by HarmonyOS 2.0 out of the box. The device has measurements of 158.6 x 72.5 x 8.8 ~ 9.2 mm and weighs 188 grams. Also equipped are dual SIM slots but supports only Dual 4G VoLTE (no 5G).

TENAA has confirmed a 6.5-inch OLED multi-touch display offering 2376 x 1080 pixels resolution. Pumping inside is a 2.86GHz octa-core processor with 6GB / 8GB / 12GB RAM options and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB storage variants. The OCE-AL50 model also supports further expansion up to 256GB.

Biometrics is handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor. Additionally, cellphone also includes Proximity, Light and Gravity sensors inside. Energy is derived from a 4100mAh battery with fast charging support.

The Chinese certification authority also reveals triple rear cameras making up of 64MP + 16MP + 8MP shooters and dual-LED Flash. Rear snapper is confirmed to record 4K videos. At the front side is a 13MP selfie shooter.

Usual connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and USB type-C will be supported as well.

The Huawei OCE-AL50 will come in at least two colours – Bright Black and White Gaze shades.
