Unknown Redmi phone (M2004J7AC) gets certified by TENAA

A new Redmi smartphone with model number M2004J7AC has been certified by TENAA. The listing has revealed full specs sheet and photos.

It is a dual SIM smartphone with 5G (SA/NSA) and Dual 4G VoLTE support. The device measures 164.15 x 75.75 x 8.99 mm and weighs about 206 grams. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for fast and secure unlocking.

The Redmi M2004J7AC houses a 6.57-inch OLED display which offers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio and supports multi-touch as well.

According to the certification authority, the smartphone is powered by 2.6GHz octa-core processor (unnamed chipset). It will come in options of 4GB / 6GB / 8GB RAM coupled with 64GB / 128GB / 256GB built-in storage space. MicroSD cards up to 2TB is supported for further expansion.

The M2004J7AC houses 16MP front camera for selfies. At the back side is a triple camera setup with primary one being a 48MP snapper. There is a LED flash at the back as well.

The smartphone boots on Android 10 and likely runs on MIUI 11. It has 4420mAh (minimum) battery capacity and will offer fast charging capabilities as well.

In terms of connectivity, expect it with Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and USB Type-C.

The Redmi M2004J7AC comes in Black, Blue, Green, Red, Pink, White and Silver shades. We should know more details about the handset in coming days. Official launch is expected soon as the device is already certified by TENAA.
