VectorNav Technologies announces Tactical Series line of Intertial Navigation Systems

VectorNav technologies, a leading innovator and manufacturer of embedded navigation solutions has introduced its Tactical Series Line of Inertial Navigation Systems.
It comes with industry leading navigation algorithms and proprietary tactical-grade IMU core to provide unprecedented navigation performance yet maintaining its compact, robust package.
The Tactical Series Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) is build on a common tactical grade MEMS inertial sensing core and includes VN-110 Inertial Measurement Unit Attitude Heading Reference System (IMU/AHRS), VN-210 GPS-Aided INS (GPS/INS) and VN-310 Dual Antenna GPS/INS.
It easily integrates with broad range of airborne, marine and ground based platforms. It could be  the optimum choice for integrators of SWaP-C (size, weight, power and cost) constrained manned and unmanned systems.
It is designed at VectorNav’s Dallas, TX, headquarters and uses solid state MEMS technology to incorporate 3-axis gyro with less than 1/hours in-run bias stability, with attitude accuracy of 1 to 2 mrad. The Tactical Series meets DO-160G standards and IP68 rating as well.
VectorNav Technologies Tactical Series line of Intertial Navigation Systems will be up for display at XPONETIAL 2016 in New Orleans, LF from May 3 to 5, 2016.

VectorNav President, John Brashear at the launch said, “The Tactical Series is the culmination of many years of development effort and collaboration with systems integrators across a broad range of industries, We have combined our digital filtering expertise and experience in solving the challenging navigation requirements of customers worldwide to develop what is truly a next generation navigation solution.”
