Verizon announces LG K8 V android phone, goes on pre-order

Verizon has announced the LG K8 V android phone with sleek modern design. The phone is already available in global markets and now Verizon has introduced the K8 V (“V” stands for Verizon)
It has 5-Inch 720p display with 294ppi pixel density and is powered by 1.3GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor with Adreno 304 GPU (international variant has MediaTek SoC). It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and houses 16GB ROM, of which about 9.3GB is user available. MicroSD cards up to 128GB are also supported.
The mobile is equipped with 5MP front facing camera that supports gesture shots. On the back side is 8MP primary snapper with LED Flash and Auto Focus capabilities. It has 1.5GB RAM as well.
The LG K8 V from Verizon is powered by 2125mAh removable battery that gives about 22 hours of usage. It has LG’s signature rear-key design, that allows for ambidextrous, multipurpose use of power / lock and volume keys. The phone height of 5.69″, width of 2.85″ and weighs about 4.71oz.
The mobile supports HD Voice and Verizon’s super-fast 4G LTE network. It also has global roaming capabilities and includes all the major connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The LG K8 V is priced at US$ 144 and will go on pre-order from June 9, 2016. Users can also opt for US$ 6 / month contract for 24 months and get the phone. The mobile will be available from June 16, 2016.
