Verizon launches its a-la-carte Tech Support Pro for FIOS and High Speed internet users

Verizon has launched its next-level of customer support and they are calling it Tech Support Pro. It is a new customer care service for its FIOS and High Speed Internet customers.
Devices like computers, laptops, smartphones and tablets are quiet common at internet connectivity. Now modern internet has evolved to support multiple devices including vehicles, buildings, thermostats etc. The Verizon Tech Support Pro gives its customers access to 24/7 support for connected devices in home, from computers, laptops, mobiles, smart appliances including refrigerators, air-conditioners, washers/dryers, door locks etc.
The Tech Support Pro will  provide support for installation, configuration and troubleshooting, if a device is connected to customer’s router. Opting this al-a-carte support will include up to 5 free MAC or Windows PC tune ups, 50GB data transfers (pictures and music) between any storage devices. Basically, it removes the frustrations of complicated setups, software glitches and other hurdles.
It has ad dedicated smartphone app as well that will grant its users instant access to support representative through phone or texts. This application is available on both Android and iOS. This app also allow facilitates users to take picture of the technical issue and send them to support representative for faster and accurate diagnosis and resolution.
Let me tell you, its not free though. The Tech Support Pro costs US$ 10 per month a-la-carte for both new and existing FIOS Internet and High Speed Internet customers. Verizon is also offering a special bundle of US$ 15 per month (about 50% discount) for customers opting support with FIOS Quantum Gateway router.
