Vivo APEX 2019 announced with SD855, 12GB RAM, 5G

Just yesterday, Meizu Zero was announced which came without holes. Following that trend, Vivo has unveiled APEX 2019, company’s latest hole-less smartphone, as promised.
The Vivo APEX 2019 smartphone does not have any holes, ports or 3.5mm audio jack. Its physical buttons have been replaced by pressure sensitive power and volume buttons.
Interestingly, there is no USB port as well. For charging the handset, it leverages magnetic port that connects at the bottom of the rear camera. The method is also used for data transfer.
Vivo-APEX-2019-photo-2The APEX 2019 features in uni-body 3D design while its internal side leverages 3D duplex stacking design. It uses MoB packaging technology to reduce the space occupied by internal components.
The smartphone features in 6.39-inch AMOLED display and comes with full-screen sound technology, which uses the display as speaker and earpiece for calls. It has full screen fingerprint technology allowing users to securely unlock device by placing finger almost anywhere on the screen. Two finger unlocking is also supported.

Talking about internal hardware, the Vivo APEX 2019 specs include octa-core Snapdragon 855 mobile platform with Adreno 640 GPU. It has liquid-cool plates and offers 12GB RAM and 256GB / 512GB storage options.\
There is no front facing selfie camera in this one though. For optics, there is a 12MP and 13MP dual shooters at the back with LED flash. The APEX 2019 supports 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth V5.0 and GPS as well
The Vivo APEX 2019 color options include Black, Gray and White. The device is just a concept and could be introduce later this year under its NEX Series.
